IBOP for top drive should be operated regularly during the drilling site operation to ensure the IBOP for top drive switch is flexible and the seal is reliable. At least 3 times a week, each switch 3 ~ 4 times. If half open and half off under the fluid pressure, equal to the throttle here to form high pressure fluid, it is easy to pierce the internal structure of the IBOP for top drive, lose the sealing function.
Before running into the well, whether previously used or not, the seal must be tested in accordance with the standard to prevent leakage. Check whether the sealing mechanism is flexible and in place before use.
After a long period of downhole operation or severe shock operation, a major overhaul should be carried out at the pipe station.
(1) Each time to replace the seal; Inspect the parts, replace the worn and defective parts;
(2) Seal test and jar test shall be carried out after maintenance, and the tonnage required for the product shall be adjusted;
(3) The storage term of rubber seals is 1 year.
For specific well conditions, such as H2S Wells, conventional products are typically made of 4145H alloy steel, which is not corrosion resistant. Do not use this product for specific well conditions.
