On February 25th, Shuangjia Company organized a twenty-person team of emergency response members and team leaders for a successful COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control plan drill during their lunch break. Other employees returning to work observed from a distance. The emergency response drill was presided over by the Deputy General Manager in charge of safety, Fan Jinming, with the General Manager, Jiang Haicheng, and the Party Secretary, Zhang Zhibin, among other company leaders, in attendance.
Shuangjia Company's Party branch played a full role as the political core in the pandemic prevention and control efforts. They conducted pre-emptive training on the plan and, in this drill, collaborated with the production safety system. Party members and active applicants for Party membership were selected as the main force in the drill, motivating a wider range of employees to better carry out pandemic prevention and control work.
Before the drill, the company further explained relevant knowledge about pandemic prevention and control and the precautions for the drill. Then, they simulated a scenario where an employee showed a high fever during routine temperature monitoring at the factory. The simulation covered detection, reporting, isolation, disinfection, sending the employee to the hospital, and finally receiving feedback on the diagnosis from the hospital and lifting the alert. This tested and exercised the company's overall judgment, communication, mobilization, and coordination capabilities. After the drill, which proceeded smoothly according to the plan, Party Secretary Zhang Zhibin commented on the activity, pointed out areas for improvement, and reiterated the need to firmly establish the concept of strict prevention and control, improve prevention and control capabilities, and achieve victory in both pandemic prevention and control and business operations.
